Entering Costa Rica During Covid

Costa Rica is home to more than half a million foreign nationals from all over the world, and many thousands more are in the process of obtaining residency. With the COVID 19 pandemic, the CR government enacted travel restrictions leaving many stranded with no possibility to return. As the government eases travel restrictions, foreign nationals are starting to arrive.

Considering the Pura Vida nature of the Costa Rican government with constantly changing regulations, some expats have been able to navigate the many requirements and have been able to arrive safely. Some others have been turned around and sent back.
